Prof. Imad Assali is a distinguished academic and administrative leader with extensive experience in higher education, curriculum development, and scientific research. He has built a remarkable career in academia, particularly in the fields of architecture, interior design, and educational administration. Currently, he serves as the Dean of the College of Arts & Science at Ahlia University in the Kingdom of Bahrain, a position he has held since 2022. Prior to this role, he was the Chairperson of the Department of Interior Design.
Prof. Assali holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Graz University of Technology, Austria, an M.Sc. in Building & Urban Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from An-Najah National University, Palestine. His academic journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing architectural education and research, particularly in sustainable design, urban planning, and interior design.
Throughout his career, Prof. Assali has demonstrated exceptional leadership in academic administration, curriculum development, and institutional assessment.
