Mission & Objective of this Seminar
• Learning to address good architectural lighting in the field of Interior Design.
• To understand that good lighting is the balance between art and the science of creating mood, visualizing interest and enhancing the experience of a space or place whilst still meeting the technical and safety requirements.
• How to select the right type of lighting whilst keeping in mind the exact amount of light needed to perform a task in the given space, the energy consumed by it within the space and its relative distribution.

This workshop in general, will benefit anyone with interests, expertise, or professions in Enhancing Interior with good Lighting at Ahlia University , Bahrain . Interpreting a group that is actively involved in intensive discussion and research in the Field of Lighting design manifesting its importance to interior.
About the Speaker
Engineer Paulina Simrock is a certified Lighting designer. She received her certificate of graduation in the Bachelors of Electrical Engineering in the year 2016 from the University of Sydney, Australia which focused on grounding her in the underlying principles of electronic and electrical engineering, allowing her to be specialized in her area of interest which is the field of architectural lighting design. Eng. Simrock incorporated Lighting Design as a whole in her current practice. Currently, she is the CEO and founder of Beams & Lux one of the upcoming firms in the field of architectural lighting design, which offers full services and innovative solutions to the professionals in Architecture and Construction Field. Here, she established the lighting design department and supervises the design and implementation of several residential and commercial projects in the Gulf Region not limited to the United Kingdom, Canada and the States. In addition, Eng. Simrock is consistently giving speeches, lectures, and workshops about lighting design in the English Language, sharing her knowledge and expertise to the public to spread and raise the knowledge of good lighting.
Her ultimate aim is to educate the society on the purpose of good lighting and why it should be incorporated in our lives as an important element. In addition, she has previous professional experience in Interior planning and design.
