DEAR PHD RESEARCHERS LEVEL 1My name is Ghadeer Adel Al-Arayedh and I am year 1 PhD researcher at Brunel University of London. I was awarded a Master’s and Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom, and an Associate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from the College of Health Sciences in Bahrain. I have around 19 years of experience in medical laboratory technologies at the Ministry of Health in Bahrain and have attended many workshops, conferences and seminars worldwide. I am an enthusiastic individual who is always ready to accept new challenges. I have a firm belief that with my continuous hard work and leadership qualities I can bring positive change for the doctoral researcher’s journey. Having your voice heard is one of my main responsibilities and we all together can suggest, develop and implement solutions relating to our professional doctoral research. DEAR PHD RESEARCHERS LEVEL 2Ms. Yasmina Zaki is a Ph.D. researcher and lecturer specializing in Digital Media and Graphic Design at the Department of Communication and Multimedia, University College of Bahrain. With a strong academic foundation, she holds a master’s degree in Digital Media and a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media with a minor in Graphic Design/Multimedia from the University of Bahrain, graduating with distinction. Additionally, she has earned multiple certifications and diplomas in graphic design and digital marketing from renowned international institutions. Ms. Zaki’s research interests lie at the intersection of digital media, branding, marketing, the Metaverse, and entrepreneurship. She has published numerous research papers in high-ranking international journals and has been an active speaker at various lectures, seminars, and conferences. Her contributions to media and communication studies have been recognized with the prestigious Abdullah Al-Zayed Award in Media (2018). Beyond academia, Ms. Zaki is passionate about exploring emerging technologies, fostering creativity in digital design, and guiding the next generation of media professionals. |

DEAR PHD RESEARCHERS LEVEL 3/3+Maryam Yusuf Aldhaen is currently working in the Ministry of Interior, where she learned the value of hard work, motivation and overcoming challenges. Mrs. Aldhaen is an active participant in providing training awareness sessions and conducting strategic studies for the benefit of the Bahraini society, through cooperating and coordinating with global organizations and international experts. Mrs. Aldhaen was honoured to present in many local and international institutions such as: The Royal Police Academy, Customs Affairs, University of Bahrain, Financial Institutions, Ministry of Social Development, and international organization such as EGMONT, Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF), and others. Mrs. Aldhaen has been nominated for secondment in the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) which contributed to her career level goals, and benefited her at the personal and educational levels. She has also participated in assessing the MENA region countries on compliance and effectiveness of their AML/CFT regimes, which had been held by MENAFATF and FATF. |
