The Mental Health and Wellbeing of Staff and Students during COVID-19: To help prevent further spread of the covid19 pandemic, Ahlia University developed the initiative of "Webinar Series: The Mental Health and Wellbeing of Staff and Students during COVID-19" in which guidelines and recommendations for the care of each individual were given, in addition to what should be done in case of being suspected of having covid19.

Ahlia University is able to share with local and international institutions to undertake and improve health and wellness outcomes and enable the better development of this important SDG.
Ahlia University has established communication with King Hamad University Hospital (Kingdom of Bahrain) to establish a research center to produce health and wellness related research, it is in collaboration between three channels: (a) King Hamad University Hospital, (b) Brunel University London and (c) Ahlia University Bahrain.’[6].

Clinics are meant to provide services to patients referred from physicians working in health centers aged 18 years and above. Children under the age of eighteen and persons with addiction problems are excluded from the cases, where they are transferred to special units in the psychiatric hospital. Promotional, preventive, curative and rehabilitative psychological services are provided through all health centers.
The below list shows all International Collaborations that AU is currently involved in:
1. AU collaborates with Brunel University to lay down the initial plan for the opening of a post-graduate degree for health studies [7].
At the moment, Brunel University London has a close partnership with Ahlia University, which allows students in the Gulf region to undertake a Brunel PhD with supervision and training given by the Brunel University academic members of staff. This gives students the ability to study and research for a UK degree, while based in Bahrain and prouded of the success of the graduates from the program [8].
Also, with the Brunel University London-Ahlia University undergraduate student exchange programme, where the students will allow them to make your degree a truly global experience by spending time studying in London and Manama, Bahrain.

11. World Sustainable Development Outlook 2018- the 16th International Conference of World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD), hosted by the United Nations Joint Inspection Unit in the UN Palais de Nations, Geneva, Switzerland, between the 10th and 13th of April 2018. The conference aimed at exploring ways and means to improve the contribution of the private sector to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and stimulate its interest to engage partnership with the UN system organizations as well as to improve efficiency in the use of resources’[18]. Dr. Dalia Kamel, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at Al-Ahliyya University, delivered a research paper in the scientific forum established by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the British Council in Bahrain under the title UK-Bahrain sport, health and science symposium. The forum brought together a group of health experts from various UK universities with a distinguished participation from the Ahlia University [38].

’ Clinical courses with Affiliated Hospitals
Clinical education courses take place at a number of external sites (see list of affiliated hospitals & centers) and are structured, credited, documented and assessed according to the norms and standards of the University for clinical courses. Clinical training experience are embedded in clinical courses. Students are placed into 2 major governmental hospitals (under the Ministry of Health (MOH) & Ministry of Defense), primary health centers (under the MOH), 5 private hospitals (one of it is specialized hospital) and two private clinics. Students in final year will be also gaining experience visiting community-based centers in both pediatric and geriatric settings.
’ Each multi-section clinical course has a course coordinator, course instructor and Clinical assistant(s) all of whom are licensed physiotherapists/medical practitioners and act as mentors to the students. The coordinators and instructors are either full time or part-time faculty members under the management of the Department Chairperson.
’ Furthermore, Clinical Education have been detailed in a Clinical Education Manual and Clinical Training and Education Logbook which includes policies & procedures and assessment methods.
